The CountPro team was thrilled to take out two awards at the recently held 2023 Federation University Commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Awards.
In their 35th year, the Federation University Commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Awards aim to celebrate and support local businesses in all they have achieved and contribute to Ballarat. Held at the end of August, the Awards process is comprehensive with detailed applications submitted in May and then being subject to two stages of judging.
2023 is the first time that CountPro have entered the Federation University Commerce Ballarat Business Awards, submitting entries in 2 categories – the nbn Local Professional Services Business Award and The WIN Network Customer Service Award.
To have been judged the winner in both categories was a surprising and incredibly humbling honour for CountPro and great recognition for our team and the way we do business. The other finalists in both categories are all very impressive businesses.
nbn Local Professional Services Business Award
The nbn Local Professional Services Business Award is open to all businesses that provide professional services and sets out to reward excellence in the provision of these professional services.
In awarding the nbn Local Professional Services Business Award to CountPro the judges provided the following feedback:
“Good accounting, tax and audit companies play a pivotal role in ensuring financial transparency, compliance and strategic decision-making for businesses and individuals alike. These companies possess a deep understanding of financial regulations, tax codes and accounting standards, allowing them to provide accurate and reliable services. Their expertise goes beyond mere number crunching, they offer comprehensive financial insight that helps business optimise their operations and minimise their risks. We believe the winner of this category, CountPro, has shown excellence in supporting Ballarat Business and in pivoting to establish themselves within an independent company to support our community.”
The WIN Network Customer Service Award
The WIN Network Customer Service Award is open to all business that provide excellence in customer service and satisfaction through the outstanding treatment of and positive attitude towards their clients.
The judges provided the following feedback when awarding the The Win Network Customer Service Award to CountPro:
“CountPro demonstrated customer service excellence in all of the key criteria. In summary, CountPro’s values of Integrity, Quality, Expertise, Proactiveness and Fostering and Maintaining Relationships are not just statements of intent but are actually delivered on the ground. This is because the company’s Mission and Values were developed by the entire team all of whom are committed to delivering the best customer service. The client feedback surveys which are consistently above 9.5/10 on all measures are testament to that commitment. CountPro’s excellence extends beyond customer service with its active volunteerism and local community support. CountPro is a wonderful example of corporate citizenship.”
When accepting the awards, Director, Jason Hargreaves commended Commerce Ballarat on delivering a fantastic showcase of the best of Ballarat’s businesses and thanked the firm’s loyal clients, partners and suppliers for their ongoing support. Jason also praised the excellent team at CountPro, the majority of whom have been with the business for many years – “Awards and recognition like this do not happen without the support and contribution of a fantastic team, and the CountPro team is no exception.
