With Christmas fast approaching, we caught up with our Client Service Officer, Cherilyn Fuhlbohm.
When did you join the team at CountPro?
I joined CountPro in April this year, just after Easter.
What do you enjoy most about working at CountPro?
I get to work with a great team of experts. Every day is different, and there’s never a dull moment.
Tell us about any clubs or community groups that you are involved in.
I’m an active member of a couple of different Living History groups around Ballarat. It’s good fun, and the martial arts aspect keeps me fairly fit.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
My partner and I have 2 horses, and we really enjoy getting out and exploring trails with them. We also have an old house that we are restoring slowly, and while it’s not always an enjoyable process, it is really satisfying to see the changes we are making.
When restrictions allow, where would you like to go on your next holiday?
I’ve never been to Tasmania, and I’d really love to go. It seems to have a great mix of things to do and see.
Do you enjoy working remotely during the period of COVID restrictions? And why?
I worked from home for around 15 years, so I’m quite comfortable with it. It’s nice to be able to see the horses in their paddock at lunch, and the lack of commute is great. But I also enjoy being in the office, with my workmates. It’s much easier to get certain tasks done. So, I’m a real fence sitter with this one.
In your role as Client Service Officer, what have you most enjoyed about your interactions with the clients at CountPro?
We work with some of our clients on a regular basis, so for me it’s been really great getting to know them, and developing relationships with them. It’s nice when I call a client and you not only talk about work, but have a little chat about how they are going, and what they are up to.
What will Christmas Day look like for you this year?
It will probably be a pretty quiet day for us. We are heading to my partner’s Mum’s house for extended lunch (that may turn into dinner!). My sister-in-law and my nieces will be there too. The kids are all growing up fast, but we all still get out and play games, and try not to eat too much.
